In the project, APD has 5 partner organisations from Armenia, Italy, Netherlands, Ukraine, Spain.

●To develop innovative approaches to youth work and non-formal learning for empowering young people to influence policy-makers at a local and national level, specifically in peacebuilding processes;

●To develop innovative approaches to youth work and non-formal learning for empowering young people to influence policy-makers at a local and national level, specifically in peacebuilding processes.

The project is composed of three core activity clusters which contribute to the realisation of the project objectives. Those three Core Clusters are:

1. Competence Development Programme for Young Fellows

The primary target group of young people will participate in a training programme composed of a training course and an on- job learning experience in form of a Job-shadowing abroad. This is aimed to provide the fellows with specific competences on youth participation and advocacy for peace.

In the second step of the competence development process, the fellows will then realise local youth policy engagement projects in form of advocacy campaigns for peace responding to the specific contextual and conflict needs in their communities in Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia. Therefore, they will be supported by external experts and the partner organisations and participate in a planning workshop and evaluation seminar accompanying the youth policy engagement projects.

2. Development of Open Educational Resources

The young fellows and their peers from EU countries with the support of external consultants and the staff of the partner organisations will based on the competences acquired during the competence development programme create two open educational resources as peer-to-peer guides for youth advocacy.

The OERs are the following:

- a training manual on empowering young people for peace activism

- an intervention guide on effective youth-led advocacy campaigns for peace

3. Dissemination

The third activity cluster is composed of the dissemination and exploitation activities ensuring that the project results are widely spread and made systematically use of both in terms of sharing them with youth workers and youth activists and promoting youth policy engagement in towards governmental institutions and local and national level.

Cluster Activities are:

- International youth policy engagement forum
